In November of 2010, Paragon purchased a 5.60 acre land parcel in Nevada, IA without bank financing and began construction on a 32,399 square foot assisted living and memory care facility. Prior to closing, a lease was executed for 100% of the building with Windsor Manor, a subsidiary of HR Green Companies, Inc. The total project costs were $4.54 million, well under the original project budget, and the facility was licensed for a total of 70 beds in 40 units, which included a dedicated 10 unit memory care wing.
